My Pet Goat

Occasionally I do actually get really pissed off. Today, there’s no words to describe the idiocy of a certain segment of my fellow citizens who believe that Obama has “rushed to dismantle the country, and its Constitution, the very country he was elected to lead and the very document he swore to uphold.”

First let me say “Thanks for the great quote, Sherry Coffin”. Sherry lives in my town of Bozeman, MT. I got this great quote – and a few more – from an article published today in our local newspaper, the Bozeman Daily Chronicle – a newspaper which I’ve ragged on repeatedly and have very little respect for (except the folks who write up the police reports – great job at always leaving more questions than answers!) Open letter to CNN:

You guys piss me off sometimes – first it was on 8/14/09 and the following days – after Obama spoke at a town hall meeting here in Bozeman, Montana, you reduced the entire town hall to one question, by Randy from Ekalaka – the only questioner who was not pro-health-care-reform. Everyone else at that meeting was reasonable and seemed hopeful that change – positive change – could be achieved. And what did you show? Randy from Ekalaka, over and over and over. You even pulled him in for an interview (where he eventually caved in the face of simple logic). What you left out though was a woman who recently scored a job because of stimulus money; also you ignored the question from a women whose autistic child was on Medicaid and she wanted to know how any changes to the system might affect their current situation. There were 5 other questions you could’ve pulled from too, but instead all we got was Randy.…
